Provident Celebrates New Beginnings with New Personnel and Technologies for Printers
Provident Group is celebrating new beginnings with the addition of new personnel, impressive products and anticipation about the upcoming Labelexpo show that is palpable. There is excitement at this company that I have never experienced before.
We recently centralized our state-of-the-art manufacturing in our Appleton, Wisconsin facility so now our end seals and doctor blades are engineered, manufactured and shipped from one location. We now offer improved quality control, faster turn-around and better production efficiencies.
I joined Provident in June as general manager, having 17-plus years of sales and flexo experience, most recently as a manager of a leading contract converting company. Since joining Provident, we have added three new Technical Service Reps that redefine the meaning of “seasoned veterans” with their 60 years of prepress and press experience. Ed Dedman, Randy Carter and Tee Fallen join Jon Martin, who many of you know for founding Custom Flex before Provident acquired this special company. Our expertise in narrow web and gravure printing is second-to-none.
But the transformation at Provident goes far beyond our impressive sales organization. We’re supported by talented customer service reps like Deanna Gass and Lori Whitman, product line managers that know everything about doctor blades and end seals
Now combine all our talent with feature-rich products including Troika’s Anicam 3D scanning microscope, and our partnership with Webscan barcode verifiers and Novation auto flaggers, plus new technologies for printers. It all adds up to a win/win situation where our customers can choose from great new products and technologies, backed by the best services. It’s a good time to be working at Provident.
